  I went in this evening there was an associate Nicolas who was very helpful but obviously new and an assistant manager Cathy. When I was trying on clothes she was sweeping a backroom and did not offer any help to her busy associate calling him to open the dressing room when he was obviously busy with multiple customers. He accidentally quoted me the wrong price of 20.98 for a pair of pants I them asked the price of another pair and Kathy then spoke up and informed me they were 31.80 and not 20.98 and the other pair I was holding was 34.99 she even pointed to the sign that listed sale price. Nevertheless I wanted the pants and agreed to the 31.80 price I then rang up and as I was leaving I noticed they came up 39.99 I walked back to the register to tell them they rang up 39.99 while she finished another call from a customer that was missing their merchandise, perhaps it was the previous reviewer as she essentially told him she could not help him .....she grabbed the pants from me rang up a refund and told me to have a nice day.. stunned I said ... I want the pants they just rang up wrong to which she said they are 3999 and I said but I asked you twice to which she replied well she was wrong and I was not getting them for that price.. if it was 3 or 4 dollars she would do it but not for that price. I would have bought them anyways but I decided the experience was so awful I just wanted to return the other things I bought and go elsewhere she didn't seem to care and referred me to call corporate and gave me the name of her DM Rich Kenney and when I called corporate there was no one by that name I called back and asked for an extention she refused. I feel sorry that Perry Ellis feels Kathy is their only option she for assistant manager as I was leaving she was arguing with another customer over a retail me not coupon
